Del Río Arquitectos Asociados is an architecture office founded in 2011 by Nicolás del Río, which operates from various locations around the world such as Frutillar,
in Chilean Patagonia; Santiago, under the direction of Felipe Camus; and Berlin, in collaboration with Matthias Götz. The office has participated in interviews and
conferences at universities in Chile and abroad and its work has been recognized in more than 200 specialized publications and digital media.
DRAA's work has been exhibited in important international events, such as the Latin American Architecture Biennial in Pamplona, Spain (2012), the XIII Ibero-American
Architecture and Urbanism Biennial in Lima, Peru (2024), and in four editions of the Chilean Architecture Biennial. The office has received numerous awards, including Best New Private House (Wallpaper*, 2013), Best Sustainable Work (ED Magazine, 2018), the Obra Mayor Award (Universidad Mayor, 2018), Building of the Year (ArchDaily, 2023) and first place in the Madera 21 Competition (CORMA, 2024).
Also, in 2015 DRAA won first place in the MINEDUC public competitions for the design of the Bicentennial Schools on Juan Fernández Island, Porvenir and Puerto Natales.
