In collaboration with Henning Larsen Architects Hong Kong - The HKUST SHAW Auditoriumhas become a centre piece within the HKUST campus, standing as a new gateway at its south entrance and acting as a new cultural beacon for the university.  The 3-level oval-shaped building has an approx. Gross Floor Area of 12,500 sqm comprising a multi-level auditorium with 2 gallery floors, a spacious entrance hall with F&B facilities at ground level, classrooms, flexible learning spaces, music rehearsal rooms and stores.

With provisions of folding partitions and retractable seating, the auditorium is capable of being converted into different types of use including conference, congregation, banquet, exposition, exhibition or fashion show, etcetera.
