Henning Larsen Design has developed a table series in collaboration with GUBI A/S. A table series called Y! The table series consist of models from 90x180 to 100x300 with a height of 74 cm and models from 70x140 to 80x240 with a height of 105 cm. The overall idea was to design a table without architraves along the edge of the tabletop. The table leg is angled towards the centre of the top making the tabletop seem as a floating item. The construction is simple and made of thin-walled precision steel tubes that are lacquered or chromated. The tabletops come in black ash, black SoftCoat, white compact laminate and in various wood, laminate and linoleum varieties.
